Special Moments

Celebrated both Annette's (big 40!) & Mike's birthdays.  Was very special to celebrate here with our students, co-workers & new friends, as well as to receive all the birthday wishes from home!  Thank you!!!

Annette's Kindergarten class come so far in 5 weeks!  We're preparing for Easter by learning about Holy week in our Bible class.  This Bible unit has been so fun to teach!!  First we acted out Jesus coming into Jerusalem (with donkeys, palm branches, & shouts of Hosannah!), next we learned about Jesus' setting the example of serving others when he washed his disciples feet.  We're learning about how we can follow Jesus' example.

NCA students playing hockey?  Yes, a Canadian work group brought down a set of plastic hockey equipment which Mike has been using for PE & after school games.  It's quite a site to see a group of kids playing hockey on the concrete.  The kids love it & are getting a chance to play an organized sport, most for the first time.

We'll be preparing report cards this week, will have parent-teacher conferences next week, and are beyond excited to get see see Aunt Barbara & Uncle Williard for a surprise one day visit next Sunday! (They're passing by Nicaragua on a cruise.)

We pray that you all are doing well in your daily lives, we thank you for your prayers of support for our mission here, and are so thankful that God has allowed us to serve here in Nicaragua.

May God's Peace which surpasses our own understanding be with you all,
Love,
The Muellers
